The Mother
Built for mass producing purposed organisms. Her common need to be involved in private operations led to many memory wipes, which messed with some of her functions, especially her speech patterns. It was not much of a concern, though. She is somewhat naive and optimistic, loving to talk to others. It is very hard to get on her bad side.
Speech: All lowercase, random ellipsis and cut offs, no punctuation
Cage of Membrane's idea has stayed the most consistent. She was always intended to be that old factory rat woman.
I'm inconsistent with her glitch-talk though, because I think it's important to her voice, but it's hard to read and annoying to write.
Her design inspiration is obvious and straightforward. She's a labrat. She's ill looking and wears a hospital gown. The wires are intended to look like long, wavy hair. I thought the imagery of being diseased next to her being themed as the mother/karma 2 was cool and that's pretty much why she exists as she does. The fact she produces Purposed Organisms came before the karma 2 theme idea though.
You can make of that what you want, but I do have intentions behind the imagery.
