As I look over footage from its chamber, I’ve only just now realized how… little the puppet is. It is already odd observing a Completely still puppet, it’s even more odd to see one that would have to look up to speak to you, had it not had its umbilical arm.
Actually, the can as a whole makes me feel uneasy with every creak in the machinery. It was such a rushed endeavor… I can only hope it ends up successful. As far as I can tell, its neurons are functioning as intended, as it sits in stasis.
I’ve attempted to run over many Simulations of all the possibilities that can occur. It may be a waste of some of my resources, but I must assure myself that this is Required. What if the iterator never wakes up? What if it’s Belligerent, Disobedient. What if a critical error occurred, and it was far too late to fix it? Perhaps it is forever restrained and unable to communicate. I have heard many stories of terrible things happening to experimental or unorthodox iterators.
I place trust in them.
